@Chef MIke, if you like AZ wines, be sure to try Alcantara. They have some great wines!

We did a build-your-own nachos bar last week. 2 types of chips, 2 types of beans, taco meat, cheese, onions, tomatoes, jalepenos, olives. Everyone assembled their own in an 8 or 9" baking pan, and then we stuck 'em all in the oven for 10 minutes. When they all came out, everyone topped theirs with their choice of salsas, guac, and sour cream. Yummy!

I made this last night for dinner. To echo a previous commenter, my carnivorous husband also loved it. I added a litte white wine and cream to the sauce. I think I'll skip the goat cheese next time in favor of some shredded parmesan. Yummy!

My grandma used to make "Shredded Wheat Biscuit and Egg." Slowly cook an egg or two over easy (gotta make sure the the yolk is nice and runny for this) in a generous amount of butter. Boil some water and pour it over one or two whole Shredded Wheat biscuits on a plate, using a slotted spatula to hold down the Shredded Wheat while draining off all the water. Place hot, runny-yolked eggs onto biscuits, add salt and another generous helping of butter, cut it up with your fork and mix it all together. Healthy? No, but it is definitely comfort food.

While remodeling our kitchen and when clearing out all of our storage spaces, I pulled out a bundt pan. My reaction: " I didn't know I owned a bundt pan!" Four years later, my husband still makes fun of me and insists that the poor bundt pan suffers from PTSD from sitting neglected in a cabinet for over three years.

I think I need to go make a bundt cake now...

Apparently my grandma was way cooler than I ever thought possible--she used to crochet blankets in this pattern like it was her life's mission or something.

Joejeep, you're just plain rude.

I live in AZ where we see a lot of xeriscape. Some attractive, some not so much. I do like this, and I'm sure it'll be absolutely gorgeous when everything grows up and fills in. :)

"Jesus this was poorly written. A fantastic combination of ommitted words and just plain false information."

jess13, FYI, "omitted" only has one "m". I usually find it helpful to spell check before chastising somebody for their about their writing.

Actually, Brianne, yumminess is the purpose of these, so the purpose is not defeated, but rather enhanced by the cake mix. It may not work for you and your best friend, however, I can't wait to get home and make some of these!

@mariasolci--We just did away with paper napkins in our home. I bought a couple packages of white cotton napkins from Target. I have them stacked right next to our papertowels (which multi-tasked as our napkins), so it's easy to remember to grab a couple of them instead of napkins on the way to the dinner table. After each use they're thrown in the laundry room to be washed each week with our dish towels.

I have two of the three-tiered cupcake couriers and I love 'em. I bought the first one at Homegoods for $20 and kicked myself for not picking up another one there. I ended up ordering another one on Amazon for about $30. I often make large batches of cupcakes for my hubby or myself to take into the office, so these work much better for transporting than the large cardboard bakery boxes. I'd cringe when I'd think about what my beautiful creations might look like after riding in my hubby's car with freedom to move about inside the box.

Now I just wish they'd come up with trays for mini cupcakes that would fit in the Cupcake Courier! :)

My somewhat veggie-phobic hubby is a huge fan of Ratatouille Bake. It's a yummy veggie and pasta dish. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/ratatouille-bake/Detail.aspx

He's also developed an appreciation for sweet potatoes with butter, or coated in coconut oil, salt, and pepper, and then roasted.
