I love a couple of these, but I saved a bundle with the Poang Rocker from IKEA. I bought the beige cover with the medium-brown frame, and I am so pleased with the result! The total price was about $200.

My husband hunts pheasant, and it is just like chicken; I know that's cliche, but it's true! Use any of your favorite chicken recipes, and it will be delicious.

I like my sweet baked goods a little salty, and plus, salted butter just tastes better to me!

I once lived in an apartment which had a nice size kitchen, but a really small sink. If you cook at all, a small sink is just totally impractical. I used to have to wash my pots and pans and mixing bowls in the bathtub.

These days, I look back fondly, but I would never do it again!!!

BTW, I was a veggie for 15 years, and I always used it!! It's not just for poultry (as mentioned in my previous comment).

I love poultry seasoning. I often throw a teaspoon or two in bechamel sauces for dishes like tuna casserole and scalloped potatoes. Yum!

I have black cabinets, grey granite counter tops and tuquoise walls in my kitchen. I have to say, it's stunning!! On the other hand, it is a major -- major -- pain to keep clean. If you're all about fashion, do it, but be willing to wash every cabinet door once a week.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nutella, but just because it's better for you than junk food doesn't mean that it's GOOD for you! There are tons of healthy breakfast options out there, and while we grown-ups can suffer through the morning after a sugary start to the day, it's just not nice to start your kids off that way. Save the Nutella for special treats!

I recently made split peas with olive oil, lemon, thyme and tomatoes. I plated them on a bed of spinach and topped with a poached egg. Yum!
