I agree with MandaPanda. I buy for the extra features. The commentaries are often worth the price alone. Ripping them just gives me the movie (which I still do so I can occasionally play them in the background) but I'd never get rid of them. Actually, I often hope Apartment Therapy would do a series of posts on creative optical media storage. :) Have You Purged Your DVD Collection Yet? |

Regarding #8: If turning on the A/C, make sure the outside temperature has been consistently above 60 degrees for at least 48 hours before turning it on. Otherwise you run a pretty good chance of burning out the A/C motor almost immediately. 10 Things To Check Before You Buy A Home |
