Hint, don't buy so many toys or ones that are too big for your home to start with and you are halfway there (outgrown and gifted being the other half)

How did you get the wordle at a high enough resolution? When I did it once for another book the only downloadable size was pixelly at 8x12. Did you use a special site or type it up yourself!

Blurb is the best (on quality and price) if you want more than 20 pages in your book. The software is also easy to manage.

Awesome. I was googling last week for camping tubes and collapsible water jugs but this must be better if it is purpose made.

More stuff. If you have a lighter weight stroller, the you can steer and hold an umbrella. I have a Phil and Teds and am fine, but the other mums who have massive heavy Bugaboos have taken to wearing raincoats. No thanks.

I have the nest and it's great, light but very stable. Really easy to put up and take down. You can gate check it because it's a baby bed, but the storage compartment can hold a lot of stuff so you can sneak on extra weight that's not in your suitcase (or you can just check the whole thing - it's sturdy enough). The handle straps snap onto the sides so it's easy to carry with the baby in it to. I like that I can slide it back and forth on the carpet to help the baby to sleep (instead of rocking her in her crib). I couldn't settle her in something that had tent poles, etc.

This is not what it seems. You can't idiot proof everything. It's like buying a baby gate and forgetting to close it. Check out this retailers explanation and video. http://mbeans.com/spillingthebeans/safety/whats-really-up-with-the-metoo-seat/

Has anyone just used a regular bucket in the bath like a Tubtrug? http://us.tubtrugs.com/ It seems like it would accomplish all the same things (use less water, be easier to keep the baby sitting up) and could be used for toy storage later. (baby due next week)

I'm not there yet, but plan to let it hang around for a week in a special "display" location, then take a photo of it. At the end of the school term make a photo book out of the photos for them to keep. Their own art book. (Blurb books are awesome, but there are lots of other services that don't cost much and if you just do one pic per page it would be really quick)

Consistency is the key with any dog so every single time you see him put a paw on the couch you correct him with a stern "No".

In order to train my lab while we were away or overnight, we would lay a sheet of foil on top of the couch. Tuck it into the edges so it doesnt blow away when a fan is on. It made a scary sound anytime she brushed it and she didnt like the feel of it. After a month of using foil every day and night (when we weren't sitting on it) she was fine and wouldn't try.

We have since come to a compromise that she is only allowed on the couch or our bed when she is laying on her special blanket. Its a lap blanket she sleeps with and if we put it on the couch then she can jump up and lay on the blanket covered part of the couch only. After a year of this if she wants to sit up with us she will go get her blanket and drag it over to us to "ask" to be let up.

I can wash the blanket as much as I want and still keep the furniture fur free.

Good luck, different breeds aren't as easy to train.
