Thanks for all the comments! We are really happy with how it turned out. The floors are VCT tile (common to Eichler homes) and as mentioned before, the "before" kitchen was not original to the house. We have a couple of fabrics that might work: Linely Rose Check, a small check with a cream background and a few shades of red. Red Ticking Stripe, a classic ticking in a soft red and cream. Go here to see them in the Central Park Pink & Topsy Turvy collections: http://www.javisdavis.com/collections/bothfabrics.html Just call for individual swatches! Check out the fabric called "Great Spot Multi" in the Animal Antics Collection from http://www.javisdavis.com/collections/bothfabrics.html It has big dots in grey, light denim blue, orange, green, brown, etc... You could have a duvet made or just use it for throw pillows for a splash of color. Not sure how the white bed would go, but you could easily spray paint that a cute, bright color. Carrie - I've only ever sewn with industrial machines in a factory setting with huge cutting tables and electric, rotary cutters. The thought of home sewing always seems "too hard" for me. I'm all about the special attachments... I guess it all depends on what you are used to! Luckily, most of our customers agree! ; ) Make Your Own Crib Sheets | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

Hi Katy - I work for Javis Davis and we have a couple of patterns that might help you tie in the two shades of yellow. One is Vintage Firetrucks and the other is Vintage Cowboy. If you are not into "themes" you could always get a solid duvet or coverlet and use a couple of throw pillows with the patterns to pull it together and bring in some other colors to work with. We'd be happy to help you! Help with a Yellow RoomGood Questions | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

We have some BlaBla dolls at our retail store for display and they are even cuter and softer than you can imagine. The mermaid has been the most popular. I work for javis davis and have to say that we only make standard size crib bedding- SORRY! But we do have cute fabrics you can get by the yard. I think the Etsy idea might work out best when it comes to finding a seamstress. If you're not using bumper pads, it should be pretty easy to make a sheet and bedskirt.
