I can so relate! Our closest store requires a day trip. We look online, make lists, but inevitably someone forgets a measurement, is hungry and irritable after the car ride and walking though the maze, gets distracted by all the 'stuff', ends up not liking the item in person or we become indecisive on what we thought we wanted to get, or what was in stock now isn't. Yes, thank goodness for the cinnamon rolls. I'll be using some of these tips for next time.

When I read this post I thought I certainly wouldn't be commenting and tell on myself. But wow, these comments make me feel better about my own uncleaned oven (never done it). I will clean big spills when they happen inside or out and clean the window if needed...that's as far as I've gone. I don't even know if my oven has a self-clean. Something to investigate.

I just tried this mix at Thanksgiving and was not impressed. I have tried the gluten free Betty Crocker mix and that tasted like their regular brownies to me. Good for when you need a quick prepackaged mix.

I haven't had success with Bob's Red Mill GF all-purpose mixes. I love almond flour to use in baking (made a great pie crust recently). My sister loves Arrowhead Mills GF all-purpose mix.

I love almond breeze unsweetened vanilla almond milk, occasionally get silk's. It is my staple milk for cereal & baking. The only thing I've found it doesn't work in is pudding.

I love edamame! I eat them alone in their pod w/salt & keep a bag of shelled edamame in the freezer to throw into almost anything from soups and salads to stir-fry and quesadillas. Edamame hummus is delicious too!

Not fantastical. I use occasionally in soup or Asian dishes. Must rinse and dry. Never tried parboiling, but will next time. I prefer spaghetti squash when i want a spaghetti sub.
