I've got a smaller place & managed to find the space for a king bed, but I suppose that just tells you where *my* priorities are. I wonder what theirs are! Space Saver: The Hideaway Bed with a Twist |

I live on the third floor of an apartment building w/ an outdoor metal spiral staircase, followed by a narrow indoor stairwell. The one time I did try to carry my bike up to my apartment, I nearly killed myself. What I'd really like is a pulley system that I could attach to my balcony & winch the damned thing up to the outside of the porch railing... 5 Handmade Bike Shelves & Racks for Small Spaces |

I love the dark tint to the wood. It helps to give the yellow even more punch. Very classy. Before & After: Dana's Sunshiny Outdoor Furniture Upgrade D and B |

I love how this sort of bathroom is considered fine for a tenant, but the second an owner takes possession & wants to move in, the first thing they do is gut & refinish the damned bathroom. If only landlords would take the time to make their bathrooms actually functional/appealing, I'd bet a lot of us would be willing to pay more... Before & After: A Bathroom Overhaul |
