I notice most of the responses are coming from people who are only cooking for one when the husband/partner/SO is away. Cooking for one three times a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, ad infinitum, is just waaaayyyy too depressing. Especially when you're not very good at it to start with. I concur on the kitchen island, especially since your counter space is so limited. For your craft area, how about an Expedit with the desk attachment? It would give you a workspace, storage and would create a "room" that's walled off from the rest of the space. Studio Layout Tips for New Apartment? Good Questions |
