It depends on what you want to budget for. Are you aiming to stay under a certain amount every month or are you trying to stay under a certain amount for a particular item or percentage, like 70% of your monthly budget for fresh produce, 15% for meat, 10% for canned/packaged and 5% for toiletries and miscellaneous?

I recommend mint if you're wanting very specific data. If you're just looking to spend under $100 a month (for example) and want to tally receipts, Excel might be simpler.

This is pretty applicable for anyone with a small dining room, regardless of their apartment. When you're hosting an actual dinner, it helps for everyone to have a place to sit and a place to set a plate. My dining table only seats six at the most and I only have four chairs. I'm thinking that if I was ever in a position to be hosting a huge Christmas dinner, I'd have to buy a folding table and chairs to be an extension so everyone could sit together.

Questions like these need to have more comprehensive writeups. How much storage do you need? Do you have existing furniture you really want to keep? Do you have a lot of dinner parties and would need a larger table? Do you have pets? Do you need an office space?

It's just hard to arrange anything without context. Also, the only issue I see is that the left wall is slanted. It shouldn't be any more difficult than a regular straight wall. Dining table next to the kitchen, sofa on the short wall perpendicular to the windows. Left corner of the trapezoid could be bookshelves or office space.

This reminds me of the million Cape Cod houses with poorly-planned architectural details like bulkheads. I've never understood the aesthetic behind wanting a ceiling that sloped so low.

I don't believe in feng shui and since I don't believe it exists, there's no reason for "it" to "believe" in anything.

Anyway, I have a parsons bed and I have nothing underneath. Less stuff for my cat to hide in.

Since I'm out of the house during the day, I can't stop my cat from jumping on the counter, so I just wipe it down every day when I get home.

I used to live in the outer suburbs with little practical public transportation. I ditched my car, and moved to a much, much closer neighborhood where I could walk and take public transit. I'm in an urban area as far as transit and mixed income areas but I don't have to deal with bar scenes or the night life of a city downtown. There are a ton of neighborhoods right in the middle of cities that offer the same but it's a lot cheaper outside the city. I can have the same comforts without the price tag.

This is where you would be wise not to tell anyone until you pass the risky time period.

Hahahaha. It could just say "STATUS QUO" and nothing else.

And all of my friends have made all of their announcements through social media, text, in person, or on the phone. They definitely didn't have stuff designed for it. Seems a little much.
