Nooooo come on! I just bought my stand last week, and now you're giving me this? T_T

As a side note, I love love LOVE #2, but who in their right mind spends $200 on a Christmas tree stand?

...maybe me. >.>

My boyfriend, who I live with, is also a professor, and I'm kind of struggling with the same thing. Thank you SO MUCH for writing this; it's good to know I'm not completely crazy for thinking like this.

This probably falls under the "hard to find" category, but psyllium husk is great in smoothies (and filling, too!).

A bet an actual branch would do quite nicely - perhaps the right branch in the right tree stand?

I've used the "If You Care" stuff (never heard of recycled Reynolds Wrap foil), and it's pretty good. It's little more thin than non-recycled foil, but it definitely works.

As much as I like the environment, though, it almost crosses the way too expensive threshold.

Ugh -- I *hate* when people leave the spices in!!!

I always wondered if it would be effective to put them in whole but leave them in a tea strainer or cheesecloth or something (so you can get all the flavor without having to pick through your curry for spices).

Has anyone ever tried this?

I did this before in a very simplistic, paint-ruining sense when I was in high school, and here is the result:

I've always liked the Japanese-style futons -- it can be a simple mat on the floor, or you can have a more elaborate setup with a base. They're prefect for small spaces, because you can just roll them up when you're done sleeping and stash them for the day!

I live right across the street from my work (literally), so I go home for the full hour and cook myself a "proper" lunch! It's so awesome, but I'm moving out at the end of the month and won't be able to indulge anymore. :(
