Thanks so much for the input everyone, this is the first time I have posted with aptthpy. Would love to move the sofa to face the view, but the cable line runs on the other side of the apt and the reality is that I need to watch tv sometimes (no den or dining room here). And the reason I thought of doing an accent wall is because I wanted to try to frame the artwork (which is white) and also to try to make a narrow room look wider. But I am an amateur (at most), which is why I posted here!!!!

I completely love the Quinn rug...I put it in my living room and it looks great. It's so soft, and very modern looking. But a big problem is that it sheds a lot. It's like living with an alpaca. Anyone else have this problem?
