I thought it was some sort of cat or dog bed. I can't imagine actually watching a tv that low to the ground. If I really didn't want my tv to ruin the design of my living room I'd probably just put it in my bedroom or some other place where visitors don't often travel. Martha Stewart's snickerdoodles are my go-to since we are, sadly, a peanut-free house. I also usually have a bag of chocolate chip cookie dough balls in the freezer ready for spur of the moment baking. When Baking is Easier Than Buying |

I have to be out of the house by 6:15 to go to work, and I like to sleep, so no, I don't want to take 7-10 minutes to make rolled oats for breakfast. I don't think I'm that unusual. I usually just toast up an english muffin while I make my coffee, and eat it in the car. The frozen oatmeal makes sense to me, and you can heat it up at the office, where you likely don't have a stove for cooking rolled oats. Do We Really Need Quick Oatmeal? |

I usually just bring it into work. I can see why you're okay with throwing it away, but even though it's not nutritious food that seems a bit too wasteful for me. I find there's always someone willing to eat it. Plus, candy really does last a long time, so I find if I stash it away somewhere I'll have it around when I'm craving a bite sized treat, but it's not out in the open where I feel the need to snack on it all day. My oven displays the temperature as it's heating up and indicates when it gets to the right temperature... in theory. I have an oven thermometer in there and I find it consistently takes about 15 minutes after the indicator goes off before it's actually up to temp. So glad I finally coughed up the $10 for the thermometer! Smart Tip: Preheating the Oven? Wait Another Minute...or More |

The Martha Stewart version from her Classics cookbook basically does this. You just cook the pasta for 2-3 minutes in boiling water, then it cooks the rest of the way in the bechamel in the oven. It's the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Mac and Cheese: The Secret to Making It Rich and Creamy |

Is that the bumper wrapped around the outside of the crib? What an awesome idea! I'd been feeling kind of bummed that no one would get to see our adorable bumper because I didn't want to put it in the crib, but this is a great option. My Room: Baby Davis |
