We actually just purchased several sets of chrome shelving to increase our "kitchen storage" in our mudroom. However, because the shelving is outside of our kitchen, and becuase I want to be able to store serving platters, infrequently used pots and pans, etc. on the shelves, I was wondering if anyone had seen sources for wire-rack cloth covers? (I am sure that these can be easily made, but as I am not to adept with needle and thread, I was hoping to be able to order some!)

Thanks everyone for your support!

-Stealthkitten: The space is a bit tight between the sink and the dishwasher, but its not too bad. (After reading your comment I actually had to go and try it out to see if I found it awkward. So I guess the short answer is, it hadn't bothered me before!)
-Darlingrose: Our backsplash tiles are Sumi-e atami naturals, 1x1 inches. (We ordered them from moasicsource.com) I just checked the website and they are currently on a crazy sale! One word to note, however - these are front-backed glass tiles with a rough, organic finish, which makes installation a little bit harder than normal.
-Urban girl: Yes, the cabinet have full overlay doors and there is no space between them and the corner sink. (We had aprox. 2" of extra space that we put between the dishwasher and the standing cabinets in order to provide insulation from the heat generated by the dishwasher.) We don't have any issues with opening the cabinets - however, you should check out how the counter top is going to be cut, as we encountered a bit of an issue re: the juxtaposition of the cuts vs. the sink vs. the dishwasher.
