KELLY: I agree with the following suggestions already written here:

1) First ask.
2) If your landlord/landlady won't do it, then advise him/her that you will hire someone to do it then deduct from next months rent. Or, split the cost.
3) DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF. I KNOW MANY PEOPLE CLIMB LADDERS TO WASH THEIR WINDOWS ON THE SECOND FLOOR, BUT DON'T DO IT. YOU'RE RENTING, AND IT'S NOT WORTH THE RISK UNLESS YOU ARE COMFORTABLE ON LADDERS:)
4) IF YOU DO DECIDE TO WASH THEM YOURSELF, ADVISE YOUR LANDLORD BEFOREHAND IN WRITING, AND I'M SURE HE/SHE WILL STEP IN TO AVOID A POTENTIAL LAWSUIT.
5) DO EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND KEEP RECORDS.

I think this idea would be great in a child's room or perhaps, a work space. Or, even one board in the kitchen.

I've really "tried" my best not to get too critical, but, what I don't appreciate is the not so subtle approach to the promoting of certain products. PLEASE tell me that the cleaning products you've "highlighed" are not part of your advertising? Because I can understand that you need to advertise, but I just don't like when it's included in your "design" posts. Or, maybe I'm so stupid that this is the first time I've noticed this:)

I, also, appreciate your orginality and that you've stayed true to who you really are. That IS refreshing. I really like the yellow wall in your kitchen. Looks like a great place for morning coffee.

**The penis I would place in another part of the house, perhaps the bedroom:D.....And, those panties, I won't even share my feelings on those!!

Wow, that is some work space:) Very anti-Apartment Therapy(lol)

Seriously, I admire your creativity and orginality. And, for some reason, I just love your rusty can sculpture!!

You do something that I really, really believe in. That is to re-use what would normally be thrown in the garbage to create work of art. I'm going to come back often for much needed inspiration.

*****Thank you for sharing your home with us, and forgive some of the people who do not know what "constructive criticism" means!!*****

Yes, alot of stuff. But, I think your sense of style brought it all together nicely. Love the colors, your artwork, and the "homey" feel. And, I like the small kitchen table. It's extra work space, a place to put your grocery bags, or to sit and have your coffee, etc.

The only thing I found out of place is the Ikea wardrobe in your spare bedroom:) It just didn't go with the rest of the decor.

How much energy does it consume to use these screen savers? I know that sometimes your computer is unable to go into a sleep mode (which uses less energy) because of the screen saver. I'm asking for myself, and because Apartment Therapy seems to favor eco-friendly products and ideas.

I echo all the rave reviews of this living space. However, I would hang a much larger piece of artwork above the dinging room table:)

You can leave out bowls of vinegar around your house, or baking soda. (Just make sure your kids or pets don't get their hands on it.)
