I don't mind it at all. So, they have my name and an old address and phone number. Whatever-- I give that type of information out all the time. It's nice to get coupons for items that I actually buy. I get printouts at my local Shaw's for bananas, apples, eggs, etc. Way better than the coupons for junk like Hot Pockets and Lucky Charms that you used to have to cut out of the newspaper inserts.

I've been seeing it in major grocery store chains. Check near the peanut butter.

Tip: Try it in place of peanut butter in your favorite peanut butter cookie recipe. Yes, cookie-spread cookies. They're fantastic.

Definitely the basic vanilla and caramel, and one of those two flavors in sugar-free. I also really like amaretto.

It doesn't say to avoid potatoes, it says that they don't count toward your dietary goals like (or as a substitute for) other vegetables. If you have a cheeseburger with a side of fries, you shouldn't count the fries as your vegetable serving.

Much easier not to use "naked" Craigslist. I use a great Firefox plug-in that makes the process much more pleasant. It probably also exists for Chrome. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/craigslist-helper Padmapper is great, but sometimes you miss good listings if the post doesn't include enough info to map it.

Oh, I could draw mine. It was an adorable studio-loft, which I thought was a dream at $800/mo... until summer came around. The loft, where I slept, was right above the kitchen, had low slanted ceilings, and one tiny window that only opened a few inches. No A/C or any type of fan, and no air flow at all. I couldn't sleep in my own apartment for a good chunk of August.

I just had a landlord withhold $120 for "re-painting the deck" after we moved out. An unfinished, weathered, wood porch. We hadn't damaged or stained it. I was furious that he charged us for a home improvement project (probably because the new tenant is his daughter), but after calling and sending him a letter asking him to reconsider, didn't push it because I'm afraid of not being able to get a good reference from him. How do appeal without burning bridges?

I have a pie crust shield. You can buy them in metal or silicone. They're about $5 and up.

Oh, for the ice cream I mixed about 6oz of goat cheese with honey, which was slowly whisked with milk and yolk custard (1.5c milk, 4 egg yolks, cooked until it coats the back of the spoon). Added a bit of cinnamon to taste.

Yesterday I roasted black figs with a drizzle of honey, then I reconstituted them over the stove with some more honey and some water to soften them and make a syrup. I'm serving the figs and syrup with homemade honey goat cheese ice cream with a little bit of cinnamon (tastes like cheesecake!).

Sorry, they look silly and are an absurd waste of space. Not only does no one need that much of any spice, but you need a ton of shelf space because the bottles can't be stacked.

Even in the tidy pictures, that unit that you have the TV on is just bad. It needs to go, and you need something to stash the crap in: something tall and narrow with doors, that fits in that solid wall space that will be opened up by getting rid of the tv stand. Mount the tv over the fireplace.
