I live in a (rented) house now, but I still have several complaints. General noise level is definitely one. Recently, I've been listening to heavy things being tossed into a dumpster from probably 7am to 11pm. The back of my place is also next to the back of a bar, and the owners and their friends like to stand out there and talk unreasonably loud while smoking pot. On the weekends there's a constant parade of loud and obnoxious drunk college kids wandering down my street or just standing around. (And I live in an expensive for this city neighborhood. My rent is nearly four digits and I'm in Pittsburgh.)

What annoys me most though is the parking. My street is a narrow one way alleyway. I don't have a car, so I don't mind that people park in front of my house, but I do mind that they park on the sidewalk so close to the house that if I didn't have a front step I literally would not be able to get in my door. They always have to park at a slight angle to avoid the no parking sign too. I've considered calling whoever you call about parking issues, but the sign points towards the other side of the street and then a few feet in front of it there's a sign pointing at my side of the street, and I'm not sure if that means no parking is allowed at all or what.

Oh, and on garbage day someone puts their garbage leaning against my house right under my living room window. I don't know who. I rent the entire house, so it's not like it's a neighbor above/below me, and to my left is a garage and to the right is the driveway for the pot smokers' bar.

I love it! The colors are very my style. I can name the source of the vast majority of the pieces, so if it were me I'd want to add a few personal touches though.

Mine are very similar. Clean lines, contemporary shapes, lots of bold secondary and tertiary colors, and just enough neutrals to keep it looking more cohesive than eclectic.

I use unscented tapers on the dining table and unscented tealights for my soy tart melter. Other than that I use a lot of scented soy candles from an Etsy seller.. I typically have one burning whenever I'm home. I also like Illume's candles. My favorite scents are fresh: mint, clean florals, grassy, springtime smells.

I don't like the rooms at all, but I DO like the idea of dining chairs done in various colored upholstery paired with a classic neutral table.
