The Ikea cribs will work as a co-Sleeper. As will most cribs that convert to toddler beds.

This would be the most economical answer if you only want to buy one size organic mattress. Also saves the hassle of extra bedding for smaller (very temporary) solutions.

If you're interested in keeping things cozy, beware of the sleep positioners (off-gassing) and check out the Zaky.

Here is a better representation of what the colors look like. Any color here can be ordered in porta-crib size.

Mr. Bean's mama sez: Carousel bedding has solids in every color for that small crib...

I did make the crib skirt, but only because I had a fabric that I loved. They have nice crib skirts there, too, and I got one in plain orange -- they can make anything in any fabric they stock at Carousel.

Hi -- sorry if this is spammy, but anyone interested in actually owning one of these -- we have two and expect to sell one in the spring -- It's a 1968 26' Airstream Overlander. It was our first home in California... maybe that's how ShayShay123 is planning it -- we worked from the road. E-mail for info, or I'll just post it in the classifieds when it's ready to roll.

FYI, the DWR Annex in Seacaucus is filled with Bantams right now. Not the returned, unusable ones either. Under $1K, too.

Call for descriptions -- the salespeople are generally helpful.

Please Please don't lead people down the same path many others have gone down with Mimmo. I tried to place an order with them before my baby came and it was an absolute nightmare. Waited forever for a response after several calls and e-mails -- never got products, and had to deal directly with my credit card for a credit due to their complete lack of customer service. Beware --

Rachel here --

Thanks for the comments -- I wish had a photo of the daybed/wall, but Mama-Brain prevailed on that one! The crib is one from Community Playthings ( http://www.communityplaythings.com/c/BabiesToddlers/Cribs/G10.htm ) The Daybed is vintage fifties, and has no markings, via e-bay -- same story with the lamp. The ceiling is decorated with felt dots strung together with fishing wire. The chair is from Buy Buy Baby (they'll take the 20% off coupon on Best Chairs) -- It's called Skipper -- http://www.bestchairs.com/bcpublic/productDetail.do?option=&product=2027&category=JU ...

I'll try to figure out the daybed maker and the name of the lamp... THANKS!

Pantly, Ferber, Weissbluth, WHATEVER... Let's discuss that COSCO Crib!!

I know what happens in that kind of situation. We have a bouncy seat with blinking lights, a la one husband's shopping trip to Buy Buy Baby.

May I recommend what we got for our tiny space, if you get to the point where you can't stand the white plastic...

And we got solid color baby bedding here:

Incidentally, all you folks who wonder what's so bad with Ferber? Remember that time you were stuck on a plane with a crying baby? Now imagine that baby is yours, every night and day, and you've been instructed to let it cry until it learns to sleep on its own. Not every baby gets it as fast as Ursula did, and it's HARD to hear your baby cry. There are gentler ways (Pantley) that may take longer, but each parent eventually finds their own path. We just went to sleep camp ourselves -- Congrats to Max and SK for finding what worked for Ursula.
