ha! i am battling this now as i'm adjusting to having a 10 week old and a 2 year old.

i used to bring my first into the shower with me and sit him in his bumbo chair. he may have peed directly into his mouth a few times, but at least i was clean. :)

@ Confounded: Great idea about the styrofoam plates as a group activity. I had thought of that too originally, but wanted something slightly sturdier for my 2 year old to play with afterward. Plate printing might be a fun activity for the little ones at my son's party though... :)

i did this for christmas as well (as a cheap and simple advent calendar). we use them now for all sorts of fun.

also if you use the "bistro chalk markers" instead of chalk you don't have that "creepy chalk" feeling. :)

The first year poster is a great idea! @Stefsie did you use a specific photo site or program for the poster?

(Was it Ohdeedoh years ago that I saw a poster size canvas with 365 pictures?)
