Is one 16oz can of black beans really enough if you dont want to add meat? Doesn't seem like it would be enough filling for 12 shells.

I love retro/vintage kitchens (or really anything that is vintage I adore) but I could not live with the metal shelves. Reminds me of a kitchen in the back of a diner. Do you find that those shelves make the kitchen seem cold and not inviting??

Popcorn is always a winner, esp kettle corn. I also love string cheese, graham crackers with peanut butter or yogurt with graham crackers and frozen strawberries mixed in. However, the chocolate pumpkin brownies I made last night will keep me satisfied for awhile :)

Jello, Jelly & Jam. I have a big problem with texture. For that reason I also hate :
Mushrooms
Yogurt with fruit in it
Tomatoes. I really wish I liked them as they are in everything but I just cant do it. No way.
Creamed corn and peas are just horrible as well.
Ketchup and mustard and mayo. never needed. ever.
Blue cheese and blueberries.

Also, not a big fan of cooked veggies period. Any kind. I just love everything raw.

This recipe is amazing! Before finishing his first bowl (yes he had 2 helpings!) he asked me if I was planning on making this again as a routine dish. It's so easy and delicious. We used turkey bacon and added garlic. Perfect!
