granola, it will keep for a few weeks if stored in an airtight container/ziptop bag (make crunchy granola and keep "dried" fruit out of it to maintain the dry-ness, or else it will get "chewy" and soft and could go bad faster due to the moisture). I had lived in southern CA and the markets there were amazing and I did notice that the prices varied quite a bit, but at the bigger markets you could shop around and find stuff for cheaper and better quality than at the grocery store. I had to be conscious of this and force myself to walk the whole market first BEFORE making any purchases. Are Restaurants Causing the Price of Farmers Market Veggies to Soar? |

I've also seen people make table tops with bottles caps by covering them in resin. It takes quite a bit of resin and a long time to set completely but looks awesome, has a nice smooth flat surface, and is a functional piece of furniture afterward. Love Beer? I've never cooled my baking sheet in between batches, but I guess like the other readers said, after waiting a few minutes for the first batch of cookies to set, the pan is cool enough to handle and I just put the next batch on. I haven't used a tray before, but the stamp is super easy to use. I don't think it's that difficult to fill them equally and I think the stamp would be more flexible than the tray for when you have "oopsies" you can just repress the individual stamp, instead of messing with a whole tray... but again, I've only used a stamp. I have gotten worms in several of my bulk items lately. And I haven't had them long. My rye flour, my quinoa, my corn meal, etc. It's disgusting! I had loved buying thing in bulk for all the reasons mentioned (price, less packaging, buying exactly the amount you want, etc.), but I'm really starting to re-think buying bulk given I've been throwing a ton of stuff out due to worms. yeah, thaw it, but in the fridge, I think the butter staying somewhat solid-ish is important in scones, so they are lighter and flakier. Maybe use a food processor to work in the baking powder or a pasty blender? Help! I Forgot to Add Baking Powder to My Scone Dough! Good Questions |

when making gluten free chocolate cupcakes which used pureed black beans, the recipe called for something like 7 teaspoons of baking soda... I looked at that line over and over again, and knew it must be wrong, but having not cooked gluten free before I did it anyway, BAD IDEA. had to throw out all of the exploded mushy chemical tasting cupcakes away. yes, they can be a bit rough on painted surfaces, but I love them for cleaning wall scuffs. I'm more careful about the higher up scuffs since these can wear away at the paint a bit, but for the lower marks (where shoes may have bumped the wall) these are perfect! the syrup from both the mandarin oranges and peaches is tasty in cocktails. For the peaches I would strain off the syrup and freeze the sliced peaches on a baking sheet, and then have them on hand for smoothies (I'd rather use frozen fruit than fruit and ice cubes, ice always makes it taste watered down to me). Mandarin oranges are great on asian themed salads. Got Any Creative Ways to Use Up Canned Fruit? Good Questions |

I never jumped on this band wagon because it seemed like it would take so much more time to assemble, cook, and clean up after as well as more room to store the equivalent volume of dessert than compared to the original shape/form. Very cute indeed, but just not worth the trouble for me. I think the above points are also very valid (difficulty in properly cooking). Desserts in Jars: A Dying Trend? |

nah, I wouldn't do it, I don't have enough stools to make floor sweeping/mopping difficult enough to justify this (4 stools).
