@English Accent, it is Curious George. When I lay on my bed at night, I know that he stays awake watching out for me. :)

@Aninhas, I am allergic to dust, so I tend to avoid rugs unless necessary. I also love the look of hardwood floors and the smell after I wash it with Murphy's oil.

@JynxnJez, yes it is. One of the things I love about the place. I wish it had more built-ins like bookcases and an iron board. :)

@lepidoptery, I tend to buy all my clothes, shoes, and bags at used goods stores. I bought it at Value Village. The label says "Nature's Therapy." Hope this is helpful.

@millmack, thanks for noticing the clean sink. LOL.

BTW, the painting in the living room is hung that way because people, espcially tall people, could not rest their head against the wall properly.

Thank you everyone for leaving me such sweet comments.

Hi everyone, sorry if my sink looks messy. I actually finished the dishes when my photographer friend stopped by, but I honestly forgot to put them away and did not think it looked bad.

The lights are made out of shotgun shells. I think it is cool. :)

The eyeball speakers and tube amplifiers are made by glow audio and play all my favorite music beautifully.

I appreciate all your feedbacks and feel incredibly lucky that I have been chosen for this year's contest. Thanks everyone.

@ carolynapplebee, yes it is! I transformed it to a toilet paper holder after emptying out the inside.

@ Klaus Sonnenleiter, it is actually an acrylic painting my friend and I did.

@Honore, it is a pew. I keep all my DVDs and manga books in its bible pocket.

@Heather C, the speakers are from glow audio. They sound amazing. http://www.glow-audio.com/home.html

@ Roozter, my condo is located on Capitol Hill.

@busy yogurt, no they are all original tiles. I just thought yellow would make my old blue-tiled bathroom more cheerful.

@bunnywax, my speakers and amplifier are made by Glowaudio. They are simply wonderful.

OMG, AT never notified me of my photos being chosen for House Call. While feeling anxious after two weeks of waiting, I accidentally stumbled across my own entry few hours ago. I was at work, but couldn't help myself screaming, "OMG OMG OMG, I got chosen!!!!!" My boss literally had to massage my back because I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I appreciate all your sweet comments! I do not know how to post tutorials, but if AT lets me, I would love to post tutorials for the TP holder and light fixture. :)

@sassy c, I could not submit the floor plan, but if chosen for House Tour, I will def. The bedroom nook is right behind the living wall (the painting side).

@shannon taylor, I love the light fixture in the dinning area too. I bought it 12 years ago in Amsterdam. :)

@hippyvieja, it is an old quilt. Not a tie-dye cover. I bought it at an old antique shop in OR.

@white on white, where do you live on the hill? I have suggested this idea repeatedly, but I would love to have an AT social group formed in Seattle. It is hard to meet other artsy fartsy people who appreciate pretty things and like to decorate their house.

I love the color combo. BTW, could I ask you how long it took you to hear back from apartmenttherapy after you submitted your photos? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It is always nice to see another Seattle person. Love the hand book ends and doll head planter. It would be so much fun if we could have a monthy get-gether here in Seattle and have a potluck to enjoy each other's finds and inspire one another. Anybody interested? olameow@gmail.com
