you guys offer a lot of ridiculously dangerous electrical advice. and that shady site you're recommending (which appears to just be a listing of everything on ebay with the word "cord" in its title, including duvet covers and pool cleaning pumps?!) has a safety notice that is a blatantly unattributed copy & paste job. not to mention it says absolutely nothing about what should be the obvious danger of wrapping electrical cables in fabric. hilarious link-bait, and over a week late as well. all of this recent press traces back to two sentances in that completely unsubstantiated bloomberg story. not even the assumption that exclusivity ends in december is really substantiated. none of this takes into consideration manufacturing issues, as aj mentions, or how completely pointless a CDMA phone would be to a world market that is dominated by GSM. keep in mind the bamboo touch does not ACTUALLY support multi-touch. like some laptop touchpads (some with old macbooks may remember hacked drivers did this), it uses a trick to make a guess as to how many fingers are on the pad. however this is limited to two fingers and you will never see more than two finger gestures on this device. also because of this, its tracking of two finger gestures is sometimes a little flaky. that said, it's a great pen-based tablet, especially for the money. those things are a bunch of baloney, and i'm really surprised to see them recommended on a technology blog. the FTC has gone after manufacturers of such devices a number of times because there is zero scientific evidence to support their efficacy. they have since changed their marketing language, and you will notice no direct claim of effectiveness - that should be a warning sign.
