Looks great and I'm sure the platform itself is sturdily built, but you seem to have achieved the floating effect at the expense of safety. Unless I'm not seeing things quite right, you've suspended one corner of this heavy steel platform from the ceiling, and relied on ledgers on the walls on two sides of it? Even the stairs - whose design would not have suffered from more vertical members - rely on masonry fasteners in old brick. The repeated vibration and stress don't bode well for them, I'm afraid.
