This is so funnny, I just made applesauce with my Urban Organics delivered apples. I have way too many and had the same conundrum. Also I rcvd a gift of red delicious apples. What does one do with those? Anyway I added frozen raspberries to my applesauce and a bit of pomegranite juice. It's delicious! Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | Saving the World With Applesauce |

After the first blah issue I had no interest in investigating any further. Before I received my complimentary premier issue, I was bombarded with their junk mail and spam wanting my subscription. I got so furious by their hard sell tactics that I emailed a complaint and told them to take my yet to be received comp issue and shove it. After all the fuss I received the damn thing, skimmed through it and was far from impressed. Love Domino, this doesn't come close. Was a loyal MSL subscriber for years, till I grew tired of magazine clutter in my life. AT Surveys: Blueprint Magazine - 1 Year Review |

Best shower gifts were things I registered for like a bouncy seat, Bugaboo stroller, bathtub and Gymini mat. Worst things were the super expensive layettes (which I returned) and clothes sized up to 3 months, which fit him for about a week. Best/Worst Shower Gifts |

This is a breath of fresh air. Minimalist and Modern is starting to look really tired, I hate to say it. With Tori Spelling's mod nursery and so many homes looking like Jonathan Adler for Target, I'm starting to feel about Modern the way I do about Shabby Chic, big time over... Godd for you for being different! #16 - Nattles' Color Explosion |

Thanks for the comments. The light is from yLighting and is called the Fly. The shelves I had built originally for my books when I first moved in and then just kept them up for Gregory's clothes and stuff. The photos make it look more cluttered then it actually is. Infact it is so much cuter in person, oh well. I try to limit the amount of stuff I put on the shelves (even though we have so many things for this little guy) to minimize dust. #4 - Gregory's Room With A View |

I'm from Manhattan too! It is funny how many of us purebreds there are on the UWS too. I'm ready to go some place else. There is so much construction around here its becoming another city entirely not the one of my youth. I almost miss the junkies of Needle Park and the Cherry Restaurant and all those little stores that went a long time ago. Meditation: On Tradition |

Sleep is such a fabulous thing, that I never used to appreciate. My son Gregory is a couple weeks older than Ursula and also recently learned to sleep in his own crib in his own room. We endured no sleep at all because he was in our bed and afterward the carseat was his bed, he woke up every two hours during the night. We read all the sleep books, dreading the inevitable crying it out. When we finally put him to sleep in the crib, it was pretty painless compared to how bad I thought it would be. He cried for one night and then got used to it after that, with a little crying here and there. I think he wanted a place to stretch out and sleep in any position he felt like. life is much better now! The 9 Month Cure: Cozy at 6 Months |
