Inspiring! Love the transformation though I do agree that keeping the black trim could have looked amazing.

I've always thought the "trendy" boxy loft apartments to be dismal and devoid of personality, sucking the energy out of any decor placed within. But John and his creative resources have challenged this POV.

...I particularly love the use of organic shapes, and colors - and of course the juxtaposition of embellished pieces (i.e. chandelier, phonograph, wallpaper, etc.) against the hard, square lines of the unit.

Sally - I know what you mean regarding the photographs - it was a bit challenging to find the right angles & lighting. I have more images posted on Facebook & Flikr that show more of this space as well as the other rooms.

Terry - the deer head is actually from Z Gallery, I've had my eye on a few different heads including actual taxidermy but went with this version once I decided on the wall color.
