Kirsten and others - Pinterest is a great website no doubt. The thing that sets Paprika apart for me is that not only do I store recipes found online there (like at Pinterest) but I can add my personal ones. THEN, I can select which ones I want to make that week with a click of a button and THEN I can generate a grocery list from those recipes. I can add or subtract to that list with ease. And THEN, I can send my husband to the store to get the groceries, since it is synced to his phone. And if I forgot something after he left for the store? No problem. I add it and he gets it on his phone in real time. There are some great things about the app for sure.

If you have more wall space, purchase the Grundal bars from Ikea and slip your lids right in. Cheap, easy, and would look good.

i have a dehumidifier and it works great. give that a try along with the damp rid. if you will have issues then yeah, i guess talk to a cabinet maker. it would be a shame to shave off some of the wood if you don't have to!

i almost didn't even look at this tour given the bohemian description (just not my personal fav). while it certainly is bohemian, it is also totally refined! it feels very 'clean' which doesn't always go with this style. anyhow, bravo. you have taken a style of decorating to a new and improved level, not an easy task! i really think your place looks great.

I love the fact that everyone keeps saying 'it isn't my style'. That is why this is such a great tour! This place is ALL Sai. Keep rockin' it Sai, you obviously know how :)

Probably too late to help any one but, I purchased the old school roller shades from Ikea, took the translucent fabric off and re-rolled blackout fabric on them (purchased for cheap from the fabric store). I selected the blinds to be just wider than the windows so when lowered they totally block out the light. When up, they are almost invisible, which I love since I want to focus on the window and view. Seven years later, they are still working great. Best of all, the whole thing cost about 50 bucks.

I want those mugs!

Seriously though, this is a 'real' workspace and I appreciate getting to see it. Looks fun. I can imagine working there with the doors wide open. With the challenges of the economy, I think more people are working at home, and it helps to have inspiration for how to make it livable and functional.

I love this house too. And I was shocked to see the usual suspects in the source list. Anyhow, great job! Can you also source the scalloped pendant light in the entry? Super cool. Thanks for sharing.

Where are their printers? Scanners? Copiers? Paper, trace, markers? I would love to have my space look like this, but it doesn't really reflect the reality of a working office space. Home office, sure. But I would love to see a post with a functioning office space to get some inspiration.

Wow. So many mistakes here. How did the city EVER approve the demo? That might be the biggest mistake of all. In theory I wish property owners could do whatever they want. I really do. But in the end there has to be provisions in place to assure the needs of all citizens. For many reasons along those lines, I think this place should be preserved. It is the Wright thing for more people in the long run.

Oh man! I like both. But as a designer I have to say part of what makes it fun and innovative is trying different things. Novogratzes do it well. Kudos to them for trying different stuff.
