If you don't need the socket and/or cord, or can find those elsewhere (any hardware store,) you can get just the ceiling-mount part from West Elm for $15. They call it a "conversion kit" for their plug-in pendants, but it should work to convert any plug-in pendant light to hard-wire (including some nice $50 drum plug-in pendants from CB2.)
