I am a step ahead. I have good friends that have been in America for about 30 years and on Saturday, will be returning to England. After putting their house on the market, they came to stay with us a few days. I decided to have an impromptu dinner gathering and asked them to invite some of their friends for dinner. 12 people, lots of great food, wine and fun, fireplace. All was planned quickly and efficiently. But - we would not have been as comfortable doing this unless we followed and did the Apartment Therapy Cure for January! (And the flowers we bought are still doing well!!!)

Well, I am moving ahead fast and furious. First thing we did was buy flowers (as suggested) and placed them on the dining table along with a nice table cloth. Then we tackled the refrigerator, and then organized the total pantry (sorry, didn't take pictures). My husband and I are ready to tackle lots of other small projects (music room, organize and catalog CDs, computer area and first floor bathroom, which has a crack in the sink for the last 7 years!!!).
