Geez, I'd give anything for my basement to look like the first picture.

Before & After: Basement Reorganization

I have a curved wall in my son's room. When I repainted and replaced the baseboard trim I was left in a similar conundrum. For me, the flexible stuff was pretty costly.

What I wound up doing is shaping standard wood molding myself, that may work for you. I bought some softer wood (I'm sorry, I don't remember the type of wood, but undoubtedly you could ask a salesperson at the hardware store). I placed it in a tub full of water for an hour or two with some weight on it to keep it underwater. Then I pulled it out and started putting a curve into it with my foot and pulling up on it with my hands. I couldn't get enough of a curve, so I had to repeat the process. Eventually it worked.

Fortunately, where the curve happens in my son's room is between a baseboard vent and the doorway, so I was able to cut a fairly small piece (probably 3-1/2 feet) and fit it all in the tub. I imagine, if you have to, working a 12 foot piece of wood in would be more time consuming of a process.

Anyway, just an idea to save you some money.

I love Love LOVE this kitchen. I'm curious to know one thing though, if you can tell me. How long is that wall with all your cabinets and appliances. I have a pretty small kitchen too and it is setup incredibly poorly. I have one drawer for all my silverware. ONE! And while the arrangement of my kitchen is entirely different, seeing yours like this gives me ideas and makes me think it would be possible to move a lot of stuff to one side of my kitchen. So if you can, please, I'd be really interested to know the length of that wall, from the cabinet on the left to the fridge on the right.

Again... LOVE IT! :D

We use the Munchkin "Deluxe" Bottle Brush (not the soap dispensing one) The nipple brush hides inside of the main brush and it has a suction cup on the bottom of it all that allows you to stick the brush upright so it doesn't get into any other nasty water that might be in the sink.

The package says you should change out your brush every 3 weeks for cleanliness. I went 2 months before replacing the first one I bought. It held up really well though. I think I probably could have just sterilized it and would have been fine.

I didn't buy it from here, but here's what it looks like:

I have a record player and a few dozen old records. I also have a child on the way. I fully intended to allow my child to use the record player, at the very least to learn about how I used to listen to music at their age. However, your post has set off a light in my head, I just might have to find one of the old kids' record players like I had when I was growing up!!

I've always used the "waterfall" method, my entire life and it drives me batty when I find it the other way (underhand).

Its odd, I was just thinking about this whole problem the other day when I came across another underhand setup.

There was a bit on NPR *YEARS* ago (I'm talking sometime in the 80s) where the commentator was going on and on about it. I remember sitting in my Grandpa's Chevrolet Caprice Classic in the front seat with him. We were both laughing so hard about how inane the topic seemed to be.

If anyone remembers that NPR bit, by all means please fill me in with some more info. I was but a mere child then, so I don't remember who was talking about it. I just remember sharing the time with my grandpa, laughing about toilet paper :)
