I have a few on my beds and I use a front loading dryer. I simply fold it in 1/2 lengthwise, then 1/2 in width wise, then again lengthwise so its flat. I dry it by itself and it comes out wrinkle free.

I currently live in Seattle in a MCM designed by Roland Terry. His post and beam style created some really nice open floor plans.

Get that tank decommissioned. Its not that expensive and will give you piece of mind. Here in Washington, the seller is responsible for having proper paperwork that the work was done.

Timely as I am in the process of installing a bamboo floor. Since I am installing over concrete, they suggest that I put down an epoxy barrier. I am concerned that I'm adding a toxic element to what is perceived to be a "green" product. Something to consider.

JVC makes a really nice set that can be had various places online for less than $100. I compared these to a set of Bose, and they were pretty spot on. Only complaint you need a cord extension since the original is pretty short.

As a former foster parent, I would go with panel curtains rather than the blinds. The cord can be an issue. I to have that toddler bed, however we removed the long side top cross bar as we had an adult bump their head not realizing it was there when tucking a kid in. Since you have Ikea furniture, they have nice linen sets that are neutral. Maybe some Flor to add some comfort underfoot. Some Lack or hidden hardware shelves and some nice framed animal prints to the walls. If space permits, an adult size chair for reading to the kids. Best of luck.

No way. I recently saw a MCM in Seattle and the price was lower than expected. Listing agent was also the owner and was looking for a quick sale. Later he disclosed that the previous owner had committed suicide in the house.

Unincorporated parts of King County still pay Seattle Utilities, and ARE within Seattle City Limits (Lakeridge, Bryn Mar). Also, who can't the south end get some larger font treatment? The whole city does simply live in Ballard, Capital Hill, Downtown and Freemont. Give some love.

I second the pyrex. Target had them with blue tops $4.99 but our local store in Seattle, Fred Meyer had red tops for $3.99. My only gripe, a few of the tops, while they seal, have lost some of there snugness. Perhaps using heated drying in the dishwasher.
