I love this playroom! This isn't my room, but I know that the little stove is from Pottery Barn Kids.

What an adorable room for a little girl! Baby girl #3 is on her way in a few weeks and we are definitely pinked out in this house! I'm not using much pink in her space either! ;)

JANP - This isn't my girls room, but the changing pad looks like this one from Land of Nod.

I completely disagree with the pp. We can afford a bigger house, but what we can't afford is to sell the one we already have, so we make do. I'm having my 3rd little girl in a few short months and all 3 will be sharing a room. This post came at the perfect time!

I've been searching Craigslist for months for my girls, but no such luck. I finally found some at Target online and they just came today actually! They are on sale right now for $139.99 with free shipping. They're white, but you can certainly paint them.

A lot of nice blogs there! Why is Making it Lovely on there twice though? You should probably combine the votes.

Um, no. If I'm being completely honest, I think this is just plain ridiculous. Yes, it's a great milestone when your kid potty trains, but do we seriously need to overindulge kids for everything? What's next, a party for losing their teeth? This is just silly.

Oh sheesh, is this really a big deal? So what if they're marketed towards girls. Clearly LEGO saw an opportunity and took it and you know what, a whole lot of little girls are going to be excited about building and lots of those little girls probably weren't before. I let my girls decide what they like and if that's princesses or dinosaurs or purses or dirt, so be it. Why can't girls like things that are supposedly "girly"? Seriously, when did we get so bent out of shape over such trivial things. My girls don't think they have to be a princess and have a man rescue them when they get older just because they play with princess stuff and they certainly don't think they need to look like Barbie, and neither did I or my 3 sisters.

I just asked my daughter what she thought of these and she said she loved them and could I get them for her for her birthday. She said they were way better than regular LEGOS, so there you go. Am I to tell her she's wrong?

Wow, I love all of it, especially the headboard! I don't know what other people are talking about, but my 4.5 and almost 3 year old girls would love this room!

Fuzzywuzzy - they aren't cheap! They're $70/each or $369 for all 6 from Crate & Barrel. http://www.crateandbarrel.com/decorating-and-accessories/art/classical-symmetry-print-set-of-six/f31739

What a cool idea! As for the sidecar on the wrong side, I guess it depends on what country you're in. :)

Our Ikea (in Michigan) doesn't have those carts, but I take my kids there all the time. They love Ikea and I love it too because it's basically a free play place!

These pictures are amazing, no doubt about that!

Raven1025 - I completely agree with you! I don't think Detroit is nearly the gem that some people are giving it credit for. Certainly there are places that aren't that bad, but I definitely don't think it will ever be the same place it used to be.

Terry in Silver Spring - I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Detroit Zoo is in Royal Oak, not Detroit. It also isn't that great of a zoo anyway and it's very dirty.
