This is a little bit of my soapbox. I'm in the same boat as some in that I'm introverted and I like to be on friendly terms with my neighbors, but I also don't feel the need to speak to them Every. Day. That being said, SHARED DRIVEWAYS ARE ALWAYS A BAD IDEA. There is nowhere for you to go. There's no way to put a fence through the middle. Keep this in mind folks. Some people just feel the need to invade your privacy like it's their right, especially if they own half the driveway.

I am definitely in the camp of those in defense of the crates! I used to think they were cruel and unusual punishment until I got one out of necessity for mine and she LOVES it. I think it's the den instinct. At night she sleeps in it and when she is ready for bed she will stand at the door to whatever room we are in until we walk with her to her crate for the night. A lot of the time we won't even lock it, she just wants to be in there. :)

Love love love! And I generally don't go for the loft kind. Where did that arch lamp come from? Is it beaded? Wonderful!

I love that orange two tiered organizer in the last photo. Any ideas where it's from??

This is probably a far off shot, but does anyone know where that bedspread in the first pic came from? I'm in love with it.

I usually only like small doses of modern, but I am in love with that bathroom. I love all the windows-it feels very peaceful. Well done on the whole house!

I love yellow! But apparently I need more coffee this morning because I thought that first pillow said "senile" instead of "smile". Either way, very cute.

I love dimmers...but what do we do when they take away all of our incandescent lightbulbs and all we can get are CFLs? I read somewhere that the CFLs can't be put on a dimmer.
