I just hope she has a cleaning lady.

Perfection, utter perfection. I particularly appreciate the placement of the sofas, just a bit on angle. Oh, for the California climate--I could never have a garden like that here in New Hampshire! The artwork suits the space. Excellent work guys.

This home generates so much warmth and coziness I just dissovled into the picture of the kitchen--it's awesome. The brick walls blended so well with the colors. The artwork is very interesting and suits the space. The colors are very soothing and create a relaxing mood. Job well done!

I think it's over the top with the white chairs. Too much white in the space, your eye doesn't get a chance to rest. It's like a cartoon, although very colorful.

I think Nick's ready to go pro--his home is exquisite.

No, I don't like it. There are so many options available for covering the drawers, the hides are hideous!

Scott is brilliant--he has blended his travel collections with a restrained decor and everything works. I like the white walls and the b/w interior (although I am a color person).
This is one of the best apartments I have seen in a long time--congratulations--well done!

These folks have guts--courage to follow their own instincts. That is what a home should be.

It's clean and crisp and inviting. Just the right balance in each space, and nothings speaks good taste than Maker's Mark sitting front and center on your beautiful bar. Job well done!

As a former owner of an A-frame house, I can appreciate the challenges the design presents, and believe me, this house is a charmer. As a resident of NH, I also appreciate your location. Bethlehem is a beautiful town north of the White Mountains. You have done an outstanding job decorating your space, and although you cannot hang pictures on the walls, how about textiles. I hung quilts when I had that challenge. Good job.

What a wonderful arrangement and it shows how lots of windows and light can influence one's decor. Splendid job. This could be an ad for IKEA, as I spotted several pieces--all working well as they are well designed and fit the space beautifully. Good job, girl!

I agree with the artwork too high. Over the desk area, if it were lower, it would create a totally different effect--cozy and pulled together. I love the whole look, even the slipcover on the chair--it's totally original. The blue on the wall makes everything pop. Excellent job, and please lower the artwork.

The sofa upholstered with Josef Frank fabric is outstanding. It sets the whole color tone for the space. Fantastic. Great taste.

What speaks to me the most about this particular post is the absolute unabashed enthusiasm the owner has for her home. It simply radiates love, warmth and welcome. Color abounds throughout and from the carpets to the drapes (and the wonderful shower curtain), the whole place just shimmers. Well done. An avid reader of all the shelter magazines, I note that few of the high end professionally decorated homes emit the kind of light and intimacy that this home has. Also, having a mother who pitches in, can't hurt either. It is refreshing to see young people take such an avid interest in having their own home and decorating it with love. Congratulations!

I love the color suggestions and I am sure they would all look wonderful, but why don't you get a dozen copies of the picture you submitted, and try different colors on the paper first to get an idea of how the color would work. When my husband and I were trying to decide on outdoor trim for our house, we took a photo, had it reproduced and colored in four or five different colors and we could tell in advance how it would turn out. Just a thought. Your space looks great!

This is by far one of the loveliest homes I have seen in a long time. The decision to buy art before dresses is the wisest piece of advice. I, too, have made similar choices and have never regretted it. The warmth of this home and the outdoors as well is so comforting. Excellent job. You both have created a home to be proud of.
