looks way too big and chunky - aesthetically its too obtrusive and seems more like a "space" hog. I'd rather my macbook "float" and not be in fear of a wood block about to roll over and crush everything in its path.

for the categories to work: in the code for your menu section you need to change the link from "/tech" to "http://trade.othercommunications.com/tagged/tech"(or whatever you tagged the post as)

its a pretty simple fix.

I also use TextEdit allllll the time. I dropped MS Word a little after I switched to mac 5 years ago. MS Office was a really glitchy and bloated program then - may not be now, idk. TextEdit is quick and simple. I feel like a lot of people use Word b/c thats what they grew up on and don't realize its probably over kill for their normal needs.

I then use Google docs for spreadsheets etc.

If you're buying a $200 giftcard for less than its face value there is a very good chance the card was gained through theft. Here is what I mean - ( I work in retail ) Shop lifters will come in and steal merch. Then, generally, they go to another location and return the merch for in-store credit staying under the max return price limit. Now all they need to do is trade the card for what they truly want - cash. So they sell it on ebay etc.

Many stores have tightened up their exchange policy to prevent these types of returns requiring now the original card for purchase, receipt, or even phone number if given.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is - please don't contribute to this system. I'm sure there might be a legitimate high value card out there for cheaper than its worth, but lets not be naive.

No. I feel like being able to lock up your bike directly in front of your destination is half the point in using a bike [vs car]. You may as well walk to your destination of you're going to spend an extra 20min trying to find an empty rack.

I've been loving the eneloop batteries for a while now. I'm sure these will be equally as good. But, for the same price I can have 12 eneloops and 4xcharger. At this point the only selling point would be convenience/immediacy since I'm not aware of a local store that I can walk into and buy the sanyo eneloops. If any one knows of one let me know.

I have the Black Mandal as well and I can't say I would necessarily recommend it either. It looks great, functions great, and has survived two moves (it is in its 3rd bedroom now). The storage space is fine and I've been able to live most of the time with one side of the bed having a little over a foot and half of clearance to slide the drawer out. I did have problem with the drawer faces falling off, but I went in and really tightened the fasteners and nothing has fallen off since. What I really cant stand is how the drawer sags when full of clothes. The bottom of the drawer is too flimsy for how wide and large the drawers are. They ended sagging and at times one side will drop out. They need to be reinforced and the bed would be perfect, but I'm not sure how to go about reinforcing them yet.

way too much effort needed for this sort of stop motion animation IMO. Well done, but still, nothing new.

I live in a small apt with all hardwood floors with two cats and I have definitely notice an increase in hair traffic. I end up using a dirt devil plugin hand vac (the green one, scorpion?) on the couch and floors. I also use a larger dust mop, similar to a swiffer on the floors and clean it with the vacuum. Although, I really want to get a Eureka 71B Hand-Held Vacuum for the couch. Its been on my wish list for a while now. I'm really interested in the wet cloth method mentioned above though.
