I cut out $25 from my electric bill every month by simply shutting off the fuses when I am not using them. I do have to reprogram my microwave everytime i use it but its well worth the savings! Apartment Therapy Chicago | At On... Lowering Your Bills While Being Green |

I had the same problem with a marble top. Do the plywood thing. Just cut a round piece (a few inches smaller than the table top) and attach to the table top (glue) than screw it into that, just buys screws smaller than the width of the plywood, you want a round piece to evenly distribute the weight. But try the epoxy thing first to see if it works if it does not try this. Apartment Therapy New York | NY Good Questions: How Should I Attach This Tabletop? |

I had this happen to my velvet couch too. All you have to do is boil some water pour it all over the spilled wax (it melts the wax) than clean up the water. Worked perfectly:) Apartment Therapy - How To: Clean Up Spilled Wax#comments |
