You have to take the pet out of the carrier for the security check.

I didn't know this, and my poor terrified kitty almost jumped out of my hands and ran off into the airport. Luckily my boyfriend was there to grab her but she clawed his hands HORRIBLY. He bled everywhere. It was hugely traumatic for everyone and she peed on all her stuff. I was a nervous wreck.

Knowing that, I sedated her for the way back AND put a safety harness with leash on her in case she tried to run away again. She was perfectly fine.

Metal beds are bad feng shui, for what it's worth. They're "dead" and don't channel energy like organic materials. I realize this comment makes me sound like a crazy person, but hey, maybe you're crazy, too, and want to hear about feng shui. :)

This is fantastic! I love people who get into the spirit of things, just to add a little color and life to the neighborhood and for other folks to enjoy. Art for art's sake! Thanks for sharing!

I love, love my DWR Flight Recliner. It satisfies the cozy brown leather recliner need, while still looking cute and small in my space, and feminine. Perfect for reading and very comfy.

Despite the expensive cat bed I bought her, I think Lou Lou would live permanently in my closet, sleeping on fallen clothes, if I let her. I too have an old tote bag that made its way under the bed and has become a little nest for her. Cats!

I use Seventh Generation and Mrs Meyers around the house, and Aveda beauty products. Am working on phasing out plastic bags and on to biodegradable kitty litter bags!
