*gasp* Dream house! I've always wanted a place on the coast but part of the coast is so much better! I *love* the remodel! Sue's Simply Stunning Houseboat House Tour |

I've had the Progressive International Collapsible Drainer for over a year and have been pretty happy with it - it's strong enough to hold a load of pots and pans even on top of a row of plates/bowls - but I only have one (large) sink and it takes up a lot of real estate, plus all that plastic tends to pick up a lot of hard-water spots. I switched to a wall-mounted IKEA model (Bygel, not Grundtal) which I haven't trusted to any large pots/pans, but the Progressive Intl is nicely stowed away under the sink for any major washes. I love the whole place - clean, comfortable, with just the right touches of rustic/industrial chic. Quite an inspiration! I'd love to discover so many great thrifty items! Kirsten & Kyle's Restored Bungalow Green Tour |

I love the re-do, as well. As for vantage point, I'm almost positive the sink is a static reference point -- you can see the daylight cast over it from the window; the stove is against the far wall. But I *am* wondering where that sliding door goes to; the passage opening has changed considerably. Before & After: 70s Drab to Industrial Chic Fab Kitchen |

This one is my favorite. :) I keep staring at that living area hoping to absorb some of your sense of style, lol. Love the purple lamp and *especially* that coffee table. And I could definitely use that apt. couch for my small space, too! Arden's Edith Wharton Style |

I think the house is gorgeous, I just got nervous seeing all of that fine art crammed into the bathroom, particularly around the toilet. I don't think I'd be able to go. :p Marta & Oswaldo Viteri's Vast Story-telling Collection House Tour |

I just moved into a larger apt. this past week and while I did have a basket of "me first" items (dinner/cookware for one, TP/toiletries), the first thing I set up was my computer. :p For someone who spends a lot of time in front of the comp, it was comforting to relax in a chair for a little while and practice some of the old routine as I listened to the foreign sounds of my new place/neighborhood and considered what I wanted to do first. I tossed my mattress onto the floor and collapsed on it for the first night, but the next morning putting the bed frame together was the top priority. Then cleaning, cleaning, cleaning for the "vintage" kitchen and bath. I'm still cleaning, slowly working through the mountain of boxes in the living room, and checking AT for decor inspiration. :) Moving: What To Unpack First | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I *love* that treehouse vibe. :) The loft and stairs/shelves are wonderful and that drafting table is a really great find. Also love the simple, serene quality of the kitchen. This is the first entry that really grabbed me. Definitely one of my favorites. Small Cool 2010: Daniel's Swiss Family Robinson Teeny Tiny Division #26 | Apartment Therapy New York |
