Really happy to find this post and to read the endorsements of flour sack towels. They are very absorbent--and they also dry very quickly. (I soaked my new ones in vinegar as suggested above.) Dish Towels That Actually Absorb Water Roundup |

Thanks, RosieDaisy--what a great compliment. The stone at the bottom is Caesarstone. I was hoping for a grey limestone, but the stone contractor had some leftover Caesarstone, and it actually looked convincing. The stone on the inside is Carrara marble. I made an error in posting the tile company's website above (I gave the wrong one); their online site is http://www.oraclestone.com/ From Rustic to Chic: Fireplace Refacing Good Question Revisited |

I purchased the fish scales from an online retailer, Oracle Tile. They are $14 / ft. I looked long and hard to find an equivalent for less money, but I couldn't. In the end, it's only about 15 square feet anyway. At night, they have a shine that reflects the light. A little too much bling for my partner, but I'm trying to embrace the showiness! Thanks, askmke! I had actually noticed that same sconce from lighting direct--and I like it--but I'm still trying to scope out something a little cheaper. Something Similar to this Discontinued Double Sconce? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Boston |

I would disagree with the previous post about the comfort and quality of EQ3's furniture. While I like their price point and their designs, we purchased a sleeper sofa that was very uncomfortable and which fell apart a couple of days after it was delivered. Looked good. Priced well. But I wouldn't say it was quality. Reviews of the CB2 Bolla Sofa? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |
