I have the Fellowes 79ci model above and it's nice because it's very quiet (most others sound like a power tool, not this one). It also can be wheeled into a closet easily if you find it unsightly. It however looks less like a trash can than most shredders so I typically just leave it out in my home office where it fits right in to the decor.

Here's my video review of it:

Thanks, timely post for me as I've been looking to replace a rickety old desk side filing cabinet I've had since I was a kid (literally).

I opted for the CB2 one in graphite grey. It looks great and seems nice for the price.

The question is going to become-how close will we want to sit from the TV? At 4K resolution, one would have to sit quite close in order to notice a difference and I doubt many of us want to sit that close.

Wow the guy in the video seems pretty clueless. I guess he didn't RTFM.

You were able to save money by not installing a new fancy shower door. I just had one put in and that alone was $1,200.

Obviously the lithium will be better. This is not an apples to apples comparison!

I made a video about my initial impressions of the 3DS here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5PmZXn0_44

There are some negatives with it but I think it will only improve in the future.

The problem is sometimes you actually will need more paper towel than you dispense and sometimes less. You often can't tell at first so this product seems useless.

Also, why do you have to press 2 buttons? Shouldn't it cut automatically when you release the dispense button?

Actually, the best flashlight to have around for an emergency is an LED one that takes regular AA batteries. AA batteries are much easier to find anywhere and you can even remove them from your TV remote if need be.

I have a Fenix model that I really like and although the build quality of the Surefire is very nice, the fact that it takes a non standard battery equals fail for me.

While the display technology looks awesome, nobody wants it to be in a traditional newspaper size. That's aways been way too cumbersome. I've always hated having to fold a newspaper just to be able to comfortably read it.

All that is needed is a display about the size of an iPad.

I will never by another microwave oven that has a push-button door opener.

I had a Panasonic similar to this one and the button broke after only a year, with my plate of food stuck inside.

I highly recommend you get one that has a handle that you just pull to open. That type of design will last MUCH longer.

I don't experience any eyestrain reading on the iPad and I enjoy the experience more because it's close to the actual book rather than being like a photocopy of the book. And, the Kindle app on iPad has more features and font/brightness adjustability than an actual Kindle.

That said, I agree with you that the Kindle is definitely lighter and works better out in the sun. I'm keeping my Kindle for long haul reading of novels but for photo and technical books, and magazines (things I've missed being able to read well on the Kindle), the iPad wins hands down.
