I have a moderately priced office chair at work that just wasn't all that comfortable. I added a "gel" car seat cushion that I bought from a local auto parts store (it's actually just a honeycomb pattern of soft, black rubber enclosed by mesh fabric with extra rubber grip on the bottom to keep the cushion in place). Now I can sit for 8 hrs a day in super comfort. Not bad for a $17 investment!
