Depends on the amount of protection that has been placed on the leather. The more protection the less likely you'll get fading. Does your leather feel like the leather in cars? That leather is typically slick as it has a lot of protection on it to combat the sunlight. Or does it feel more glove soft? If it does it has little to no protection on it and should be kept out of the sunlight.

I guess it would really depend on the size of TV as to what to recommend and your price range. We've seen some really cool steel/glass ones by a manufacturer called Elite. However they are for widescreen televisions and the price tag is usually around $500-$600 in the stores. Very modern, very cool. A search online should give you some stores that carry them.

Hi, not sure if you're still shopping for a cover. I think there is a similar post to this one that I have also commented on. If you're still looking for a futon cover, we purchased ours through http://www.futonsnow.com

What we liked is that we could customize the thickness of the cover to fit our mattress as our first cover we got from target just seemed to swim over the mattress, it was really baggy. This one has worked out great for us and they had a nice selection. (Not that I wasn't open to a couple of other sites as well at the time.)

This was a few years ago but I'm sure you can still find them.

Take care and good luck in your search.

I guess if I had that sort of theme in my home, I'd be all over that. A little too retro for me though. ;)

Hi. I'm not sure if you're still looking for a cover. I purchased mine here: http://www.futonsnow.com as I bought one of those target covers to start out and it just looked horrible on the futon. All baggy and loose.

When I was shopping sites this one talked about the fact not all futon mattresses are the same size and they offered 'lofts?' which they make the cover tailored to fit the size and thickness of your mattress for a better snug fit. We've been really happy with ours.

Best of luck to you in your search.
