I wonder why batteries are considered hazardous waste in CA but not MD.

I try to do 30 minute meals during the week and save the meals with more prep time for the weekend.

I love grilling asparagus! I also do olive oil and salt and pepper but do that before cooking it. Yum :)

When we bought our house we were lucky that the previous owners did a kitchen remodel recently. This is our first time living in a home with a pull out multi function faucet and we will never live somewhere without one again! It's just SO much more useful!

I also agree with the Weber! We learned from the mistakes of friends and family who went with cheaper grills to start and we got the Stainless steel weber genesis as our first grill. It was pricey no doubt at close to $1k but we use it many times a week and it will last us for years to come.

We have a food lion and giant very close by. Most of the time I shop at Giant. I go to Trader Joe's for some things but the parking lot is such a disaster it's hardly worth it to drive the extra distance and deal with that stress to get the two things that I get there that I can't get at giant. We should have a Wegman's opening close by soon and that will become my go to store then.

Seeing a great photo, a short ingredient list, and ingredients that I tend to have on hand, or know where to get. Sometimes I'm excited to venture outside the box and try new ingredients, but if the recipe is made up of half or more of things I've never used before I won't try it.

Just last night at my mom's house we had a single layer unfrosted white cake with fresh strawberries. It was delicious.

I would be interested to try the wedding cake since I've never had that kind of fruit cake before.

My fiance used to use his immersion blender to make frozen protein shakes in the morning. Ever since we moved in together a couple of years ago he started making them with cold water instead of ice so the sound wouldn't wake me up (how sweet <3).

But he did it for years before and it never damaged the blades.

I was the kid who came to school with tuna fish and crackers or chicken noodle soup in a thermos.

I was never normal :P

Really cute! My Future Mother-in-law bought me a nice Williams Sonoma recipe book last year, but I'm running out of space quickly and I would love to buy these lovelies as the refill pages!

Crushed oreos, Jimmies, caramel and hot fudge. YUM!

Not necessarily all at once, but the chocolate jimmies might be yummy with all of that :)
