I remember seeing on Unplggd that Monitor Cozy and instructions how to make it I believe. In fact I think I book marked it.

First, agree with everyone on the crazy price of an ice maker! No thanks.

I bought my first white tree this year, and LOVE it! I think ornaments pop so much better against the white, but again it goes to your taste preference and home decor. http://instagr.am/p/WEnWr/

I grew up always having an artificial tree, so that doesn't bother me. I actually think that cutting down an entire tree just to decorate it for a few weeks is pretty wasteful. I know others won't agree, but if my artificial last me 10 years then I'll take that over real. Save the trees for the forest.

Ahh the Chicago highboy dresser. I saw that last night, it's gorgeous. Wish I had a need for it!

Absolutely love it. That white & wood credenza in the bathroom is to do for, I've been looking for one like that for my living room. Kudos on a gorgeous home!

I can only imagine how cozy that living room with the fireplace and greenhouse type windows is in the winter at night. #todiefor kudos!

I found a gorgeous binder at Target, got some of those clear sleeves and index tabs with pockets. Took all my printed & torn out of magazine recipes and put them in the sleeves. For those smaller guys (say from Everyday Food) I use doublesided tape to a piece of standard paper and put in the sleeve. The pockets help me organize quickly if I don't have time to get anything on a sheet of paper or in a sleeve.

Additionally, several years ago for Mother's Day I took my mom's beat up cookbook and typed up all her recipes she had in there written by hand. Cleaned up the cookbook, added tabs and even typed up those conversion charts & everything. It turned out great, and the benefit? I now have all those recipes on my computer :)

SnapShop is a great app, just wish more retailers would get on board! Pier 1 has being doing it for a bit now. :)

I love everything about our bedroom. We re-did it 2 years ago and still love it. Here's the highlights: Brown/Yellow/Orange color combo (think peanut butter, burnt orange and dusty yellow); investment piece was the gorgeous walnut dress from Room & Board (sleek & warm at the same time); photo collage above the bed (wedding photos & vacation shots); new closet (wider doors & organization system); new lighting (found a fabulous ceiling fan that isn't ugly and wall-mounted bed side lighting).
