With a 2 month old and a 1 bedroom apartment, this would be a stylish and useful addition to our kitchen! Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Thursday Giveaway: Flair Highchair by Boon |

Three weeks ago my son was delivered during a planned c-section because he was breech. I take offense to saltyc comment that c-sections are unatural. I read many childbirth books, including Ina May's, and would have loved to have a vaginal birth. We tried all sorts of natural ways to turn our son to a head down position and I had to realize in the end he was in position he needed to be in. The only drugs I had before, during, and recovering from the c-section was a spinal block. And in the end we are both healthy and happy. That is what's important and I think it's important to have a book supporting all kinds of birth. Yes, saltyc, creatures have been giving birth vaginally since the begining of mankind, but without the invention of science - I or my baby could have suffered serious, even fatal consequences. Looks great! I have been so inspired by all the fantastic small nurseries, especially since we're converting our junk room/closet (50 square feet) in a nursery. I would like to match the rest of our house since the room is directly off the living room and get a danish modern style dresser to put the changing pad on. What is the height of your dresser? It looks taller than an average changing table. Is that a problem? Is there a perfect height? My husband and I are on the taller side so I feel like we can go a little higher. Thanks for any thoughts on this. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Nursery Tour: Becky Andrew Show Their Stuff |

I agree with Natipug I would want something for myself. I'm currently pregnant and even for Christmas a lot of the presents were baby related. Which I appreciated but felt a little overshadowed. I did get a gift certificate for a trendy maternity store and that was really welcomed. What would he get her if she wasn't pregnant? That is probably the best starting point. If he wanted to get her something baby related maybe make it a gift from the baby. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Good Question: Birthday Gift for Pregnant Wife |

I like the brown or grey one, although I could go for any color. I won't need it for a baby for a few months but could stash my knitting, laptop, water bottle, snack, and newspaper in it in the mean time. Once the baby arrives I would also put in wipes, gdiapers, extra outfit, warm cap and a sun hat, nursing cover, blanket (in San Francisco you always need an extra blanket), a pacifer, and a bottle of wine. Okay I might leave the wine at home. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Thursday Giveaway: Skip Hop Via Messenger |

I think anytime I complete a project is a proud moment. Although recently I experienced an especially proud moment making a Halloween costume. As a nanny I enjoy making their Halloween costumes each year. This year the 6 year old boy wanted to be a space shuttle- not a rocket, a space shuttle. We schemed and planned and bought the materials back in August, though fear kept them sitting in the bag until 2 days before Halloween. It was crunch time and I somehow had to make this impossible costume become a reality. If you know kids you know they have an idea in their head and don't take into account lack of pattern, seams, funky material, etc. Apartment Therapy - Thursday Giveaway: Amy Butler Prize Package |
