I bought a sheet cut-to-size for my cherry table. my child doesn't use the clamp seat anymore, just a high chair. i wanted something to protect the table while also being able to see it. Also....something that would be great for art projects or anything messy while being easy to clean. i use sticky-backed rubber nubs (used on the back of picture frames to protect walls) to keep it in place. it's not a perfect solution. Here's why....

1) the edges are slightly sharp even after they supposedly sanded down the edges post-cutting. 2) it also wasn't cut 100% flush with the table. 3) it does have that "we are covering up our furniture with plastic" look. 4) scratches up slightly.

i might be going back to the good old tablecloth! make sure their cutting is super-precise with edges "sanded" or this is not a good solution. also cost me $100!

Dow & Company just completed wallpapering a wall in my nursery. This wallpaper is vintage (may have been printed in the 1940's), very fragile, and printed unevenly.

Watching Dow & Co. in action made me realize how labor intensive this job actually, was and how methodical one must be to put up special wallpaper. His price is well worth the effort and care he puts into his work. I secretly thought that this wallpaper would be impossible to put up and here's why.....

Before Dow, I had another company take a stab at it (although this company warned me that they do not usually work with VINTAGE wallpaper). He quit after trying to apply two rows of it, thus wasting part of my two rolls. He just couldn't handle how delicate it was....and did not know how to work with it properly. This company was half the price that Dow quoted me, but in the long run, i had to pay them $70 for the work, was out the wallpaper wasted, and had to scrape up what was improperly put up.

Dow & Company is expert at what they do. I highly recommend.
