This is a very hard subject to parce into videos. I think it would have been better served with paint chips under direct (vs. diffused) lighting rather than starting with objects. A fan deck would also be useful in duscussing warm and cool variations within a given color. Good luck with future videos.

Week 2: Warm and Cool Colors
The Color Cure

Here are some issues.
1. You need to have fairly close access to an exterior wall to vent the dryer. Otherwise you will need to create some sort of boxed soffit along the bottom of the wall to run the vent.
2. It would be helpfull to tie into the existing plumbing stack(s) near the lav or shower.
3. You will need at least 3 ft. clear in front of the unit for access in the front and 2'-6" minimum for unit depth.
4. The shower wall appears wide enough but not deep enough for the unit and for access. Will the unit fit on the same wall as the lav?
5. Would moving the lav be a possibility?

Fan freaking tastic! Everything about the collected/handed down nature of your objects is spot on. Will look forward to the aesthetic being brought into the master and ensuite addition. One thought: consider another way to display photos in the kitchen. The menagerie of them competes with the rest of the room.

Great example of how industrial can be comfortable and welcoming. The found objects placed with photos in the shadow boxes are cool. Labs rule!

I think you have found a great way to present everything in a way that can be read both as elegant/formal or casual/comfortable. I think you are going to need to make a schedule for those of use who are ready to stay for an extended visit.

Just a general rule: paint should never end on an exterior edge but rather at an interior corner. I agree that you should try painting up to the bulkhead. It would probably make the room look taller but feel smaller.

Definitely should have gone with a much, much less saturated color, edging towards grey. But the color is perfect for a granny or 'tween.

The desk is a very nice piece and one that could last a lifetime. Unless you paint it blue. If you want it to last into high school and beyond, consider re-staining to go with a dark leather pull.
