We recently did a 3 week trip to Europe. My note is on the stroller. We took our full size stroller (as opposed to a umbrella one) and I am SO glad we did. It holds a bunch more stuff that you acquire throughout the day and kids are way more likely to nap in the regular stroller than an uncomfortable umbrella stroller. It was a real game changer for us. Good luck!

I for one am thrilled! My baby is due on Monday and this outfit that you posted will be a definite for her winter wardrobe! I also have my eye on that bike!

These are actually wooden shutters, I think they block the light pretty well, but I guess I will just have to wait and see if Ruby agrees! If not I will be sure to heed the advice ladies-thanks for the heads up! I can start planning a window treatment in advance :) More fun!

It's beautiful and from this picture looks like it is for a beach/summer house. I definitely think it could work in that context where kids are not spending anytime in their room other than sleeping-but I think for their home bedroom they need a little space for play/moving around. Really beautiful styling though.

We have these hooks and they are useless. If you take a closer look you will see they only have one screw. This means that even when anchored in the wall they spin and don't hold anything well. I would skip these ones and look for ones that have two holes for two hooks.

Do you know what crib that is? And is that a trundle under it? Thanks!

There needs to be a combo category of shops & online, I feel like that is what most people do today!

I love velvet! I live in Southern CA where it doesn't make a lot of sense to have velvet (hot weather and all) but I always try to incorporate it in some small way into a room.

Even if it is just on a small side stool it really spells luxury to me!

Yes Yes Yes...I treasure my holiday decorations and each year it is so much fun to bring them out carefully picking through tiny little toys that bring so much joy. My mother was a wonderful holiday decorator so I certainly get that from her. And whilst I do LOVE it all, I only buy very tasteful, modern/classic decorations that will always look stunning. No tacky foil or plastic ones :)

I got it right! And I don't even have kids!

I recognized the Dwell Studio organic poppy quilt and knew that was expensive.

I don't know...I think I might have to disagree on this one. They all look too themey for me.

Except for JA's giraffe and the pigeon-those too could work in the right room.
