This might sound strange, but in my household growing up or even all the years after, I have never seen anyone ever core a head of iceberg lettuce, just cut into it and cut away the tough part...I certainly have never seen anyone do this Smart Tip: How To Core a Head of Iceberg Lettuce in 3 Seconds Video |

I had a pretty good one recently at a local restaurant, it was essentially a light german beer mixed with St. Germaine. They were calling it a shandy but that is not at all what a shandy is so I refuse to call it that, but it was delicious nonetheless! Ugh, my aunt does this at every thanksgiving/dinner I have ever gone to at her house, I absolutely despise it. While I am usually hungry when I arrive, I like a little time to relax and wind down and just talk or drink with friends and family instead of going straight to the table to watch people stuff their faces. I am a bit strange, as I drink almost nothing but water with meals (no soda or juice or milk in the house). But I absolutely must have the water be freezing cold, I cannot have water at room temperature under any conditions, it actually makes me physically gag if I do. I think the problem is that some of the new breweries are making the fruit the whole point of the beer (and thinking that might appeal to people who are not normally beer drinkers), instead of one's like Magic Hat #9, that are all about good beer with hints of fruit. As someone who has never had anything but crappy white refrigerators in every place I have lived since I was a child, I wish just once to have stainless steel, so much nicer looking than the white fridges. Trend Watch: Is White the New Stainless Steel? |

I can't even tell you the last time I had juice of any form in my fridge. I would blame my parents for my lack of juice drinking, but to tell the truth my mom usually has at least cranberry juice hanging around somewhere. However I did notice once I hit college, that almost everyone I met, drank orange juice every morning, no matter what. I always felt odd not having grown up with that tradition at breakfast. Don't get me wrong, I love fruit and eat a lot of it, just not juice, I'm like some of the people above, I would rather eat my calories than drink them I guess. Are You a Morning Juice Drinker? |

I am laughing at this only because its reversed in my family, my mother is the one that eats like a 3 year old. She won't try anything new and eats almost no good wholesome food. I on the other hand eat almost everything, and love to try new things, and love to cook. I can't cook for her at all, its impossible, she won't eat anything, and its so frustrating! My poor pup is allergic to everything, any human food makes him sick and most dog foods do as well. After taking the time to test multiple kinds of all natural and dry foods, the only thing that seems to work is the Science diet sensitive stomach. This dog lives for food, so it is heartbreaking that I can't give him anything at all, doesn't stop him from begging though... Fancy Feasts: Do You Cook For Your Pets? |
