Two years ago I was in the same boat. I made a turkey roulade with sage and mushroom stuffing. In the same roasting pan, I roasted sweet potatoes which I topped with maple pecan butter once they came out. I also had some homemade cranberry sauce, macaroni gratin (i.e. mac and cheese with gruyere), and green beans. What Should I Cook for a Smaller Thanksgiving Dinner? I did this menu last T-day and it was a roaring success. The only thing that I added was a batch of mac and cheese because I am fairly southern. I am planning to do it again this year and it seriously only took an hour for turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, sweet potatoes and appetizers.
