So fun! and very cool. Stupid photography however, dumb vignettes of items clearly seen in whole-room shots.

Minimalism is wrong, in fact it's horrid. Cosy (as we spell it down in my neck of the woods) is better, but still very staged. I lean towards cosy but not this example.

charmgirl, I live in New Zealand and those rugs are readily available at many retailers, including our local building supplies shop! We have the exact same one, and the ABC one. I don't think they are particularly exclusive anymore. :)

the first sentence makes no sense....

since when did living in a loft exclude staying home or playing with dogs?

Absolutely exquisite. Can you answer a couple of questions?
1. do the mirrors and plates survive in the elements outside, or are they always covered by the awning? I want to do this but we have no shelter to speak of.
2. Can we be friends? :)

Perhaps it would have been more helpful/interesting/relevant to have the post written by someone who DOES actually like having things around them? Then we could have read some real advice from someone trying to keep it to a minimum. A minimalist really cannot relate!

Your cats are the most gorgeous I have seen for a long time! (I hope my own two cats are not reading this). Beautiful house, I love the pink bedroom in particular, very similar to my own daugther's room. I used to live in SW Londres and miss it terribly. Thank you for sharing!
